Tremron Fence Installation: The Pasadena Owner’s Guide
If you have a Tremron fence that’s leaning, cracked, or pulling away from its posts, we can replace or reinstall the affected section. In Pasadena, Tremron-compatible fence installation typically runs $3,500 to $9,000 depending on linear footage, post condition, and whether we’re salvaging the existing panels or starting fresh. Most owners discover the problem after a rainstorm, when the clay soil in neighborhoods like Bungalow Heaven or the San Rafael hills shifts and suddenly a post that looked fine all summer is tilting three inches out of plumb.
Tremron makes a concrete product, which means the failure is almost never the panel itself. It’s the ground, the post, or the connection between them. We’ve installed and repaired enough of these around Pasadena to know exactly what to look for, and we’ll tell you straight whether you need a full reinstall or just a post reset. Call (626) 657-5396 and we’ll come look at it. The estimate is free and in writing before any work starts.
Which Tremron Models This Applies To

Tremron’s fence lineup includes the Jacuzzi Fence, the Vertica series, and the Bella wall-and-fence system, each with different post dimensions and panel weights. The Jacuzzi Fence uses 2″ panels that slide into routed posts; the Vertica uses plain-end concrete slats with 3″ x 3″ posts. If you don’t know which one you have, measure the panel thickness and look at the post cap. Jacuzzi posts have a distinctive rounded cap; Vertica caps sit flat.
This matters because a post that undermines a 2″ panel won’t hold a 3″ panel, and mixing series parts looks wrong even when it fits. We stock Tremron-compatible replacement posts, caps, and panel inserts, plus quality aftermarket equivalents from Vega and Orco where they match the original dimensions. Sawyer Remodel Pasadena is an independent contractor. We’re not affiliated with Tremron, but we’ve worked with their products long enough to know the compatibility quirks, including the fact that Tremron post dimensions changed slightly around 2018. If your fence predates that, we’ll verify the pocket width before ordering anything.

Signs Your Tremron Fence Installation Is Failing
- Post lean beyond 1 inch in 4 feet. That’s the threshold where concrete posts start loading the panel joint unevenly. In Pasadena’s expansive clay soil, this usually means the footing wasn’t deep enough or water is pooling at the base. Left alone, the panel cracks at the post interface.
- Visible cracking at the bottom third of the panel. Tremron panels are dense, but they don’t flex. When a post shifts and the panel can’t follow, the bottom edge takes the stress. If you see a hairline crack running horizontally, the panel is already failing.
- Gap opening between post and panel. The panel should sit tight in the routed channel. A visible gap means either the post moved or the channel has chipped. Water gets in, freezes (rare in Pasadena but it happens on Altadena-facing slopes), and widens the crack.
- Sections that “sing” or rattle in wind. A properly installed Tremron fence is dead quiet even in Santa Ana winds. If panels are chattering, the footing is loose. That’s not a cosmetic issue; it’s a lever working the post out of the ground.
- Pooling water or soft soil at the post base. This is the one we see most often in neighborhoods with sprinkler systems that overspray. The post base stays wet, the soil swells and contracts, and the post eventually decomposes or the concrete footing cracks.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

For a typical Pasadena lot with 40 to 60 linear feet of Tremron fence, a full reinstall runs $3,500 to $9,000. The range comes down to three things: how many posts need new footings, whether we’re reusing your existing panels or replacing cracked ones, and access to the fence line. A clean side-yard run is less expensive than a slope with retaining walls and irrigation lines in the way.
Every quote includes a line-item breakdown: footings, posts, panels, caps, and haul-away of the old material. No change orders, no surprises at the invoice. The price we hand you in writing is the price you pay. All work is covered by our 365-Day Done Right Promise. If the fence isn’t right a year from now, we make it right.
DIY or Call Us?
A homeowner can check the obvious: push gently on each post, look for cracks, and watch how water drains around the base after a rain. You can also mark a leaning post and check it again in a month. What you shouldn’t do is dig out and reset a Tremron post yourself. These panels are heavier than they look. A full Jacuzzi panel is over 200 pounds, and a shifting post under load can drop a panel on someone. We use lifting clamps and braces every single time. If the post is leaning but the panel is still sound, call (626) 657-5396 and we’ll assess whether a post reset gets you another ten years or whether the section needs replacing. Either way, you’ll know before you spend a dollar.
FAQs

Twenty to thirty years is realistic if the footings are deep enough and drainage is good. The panels themselves are concrete and essentially permanent. What fails in Pasadena is the footing, not the product. We pour footings to a depth below the expansive soil line, which is the difference between a fence that lasts 15 years and one that lasts 30.
Yes, if the post itself isn’t cracked and the panel hasn’t been damaged by the lean. We remove the post, drill out and repour the footing, and reset it. If the post is cracked, replacement is cheaper than repairing concrete. Call (626) 657-5396 and we’ll tell you which one you’re looking at.
Most residential sections go from demo to new footings to panels in two to four days. Footings need 48 hours to cure before we set posts and hang panels. It’s not a same-day job, but it’s not a two-week project either.
We stock common replacement posts, caps, and panel inserts for the Jacuzzi and Vertica lines, plus compatible aftermarket options from Vega and Orco. If your fence is older than 2018, we’ll measure the post pocket before we bring anything to the job, since Tremron changed some dimensions. We also work with KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone on the remodel side, so we’re set up to spec exact parts across brands.
